I would not recommend staying at this hotel for numerous reasons which I will list below. The most concerning reason was I reserved the hotel almost 5 months prior to when I was going to be in London and the day I was supposed to check in they emailed me stating there was an issue and degraded me to a significantly smaller room. In August, I reserved the XL studio with a king bed, sofa bed, and chair with a shared terrace for my stay at the end of December. Because I had booked a room with a terrace, we made plans to sit out there for New Year’s Eve and watch the fireworks. The morning I was supposed to check in, they emailed me there was a technical issue and had to degrade me to a “medium room” which was barely big enough for one person, never mind two people. When they emailed me I was just starting an 8.5hour plane ride and was not contacted any other way about my new room assignment. We did not have any kind of sofa or chair. All there was is a bathroom and bed. If that was the case, their prices should be considerably cheaper. The heater stayed on even after we turned it off. It was roughly 40°F during our stay and we wound up sleeping with the window open every night because the heat was unbearable in the room. The “virtual” assistance I received makes the whole experience very impersonable and if there are any issues, it takes much longer to resolve the issue. We were awoken every night between 3am - 4am from someone above us causing loud thumps and bangs.
