"We were very happy to see there was an appleby restaurant next to the motel. What I did not like was our room - the bed was not change, had the receptionist to bring some sheets. The heating system was not working so therefore she brought us a heater. The place would be fabulous if it would be upgraded."

"I was attending a doggy event in the area and the location was excellent, just minutes away from the venue, so no need to get up so early to get ready. Was very dog friendly. Lots of room to let dogs run, but need to watch out for the ducks and Guinea hens, no fenced yard so dogs need to have good recall if running off leash. This was really awful for me, since they were already on their way. Yes it sleeps 4, but a queen bed and a queen pullout. As Seniors, this just doesn’t work. I feel I deserve a partial refund from Expedia."

"This property is so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We loved mornings and evenings on the deck watching horses and cows on the hillside while listening to birds. Short drive into Erie, where we absolutely loved Presque Isle state park. Also loved Riverside Brewing which is 10 minutes away. The owners were very welcoming with a sweet note and vase of fresh-cut lilacs from their bush. Would definitely come back"
