This hotel is a few minutes walk to the Hackescher Market train station and the Museum Island. It literally sits on the site of the 1943 Rosenstraße Protest. The room is small but decent. The area feels safe.

Our standard room was far superior to more expensive rooms at other hotels. All staff were friendly and welcoming and check in/out process was easy and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with good choice and of very high quality. We would definitely recommend and we will be returning on our next trip to Berlin. The hotel is in a nice shopping area, but it’s surrounded by buildings, so there’s no view from the room—just nearby office buildings that are quite close, making it likely you’ll want to keep the curtains closed. Although Expedia rates it as a 4-star property, based on the amenities and room condition, I would give it closer to 3 stars. The breakfast is nice, but I’d prefer to visit a nearby café instead.

Couldn’t have chosen a better hotel to stay at! The staff were wonderful and the area could not be beat. We were a 3 minute walk to the Hackescher Markt train station and tons of amazing restaurants. The Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, and TV Tower were about a 15 minute stroll away as well. Perfect, perfect location!

Close to Alexander Plaza railway station. Direct train from airport. Great hotel, very walkable down to Brandenburg gate, but with tv tower, cathedral and loads of museums right on your doorstep. My only negative was with the hotel was missing pillow protectors. One pillow had a stain on, so I just didn’t use it. Otherwise it was a great stay.
