This resort is a bit dated and could use an update, but the location to Bang Saen Beach and the size of the rooms helps make up for the dated design and furnishings. They also have a good, big breakfast.

We enjoyed our poolside room in this historic hotel. Yes, in some ways it could use a bit of updating, but those reviewers who focus on that miss the “Heritage” part of this hotel, which really does capture old Bangsaen. We are delighted that it’s still in operation, and in a stylish “Thai” way.

Nice spacious property, we were traveling with a dog so we had to stay in the villa zone. The villa zone was far from the main property and was quiet. Nice place to relax and let your dog wonder around. The only down side are mosquitoes, they were large and were flying everywhere.
