"We liked the extra space and needed the washing machine. But the property is a bit outside the action. It's a very cheap Uber that goes to more lively areas, or you can walk. Next time, I will book a place in Provenza in El Peblodo. "

I'd definitely stay again. the area is not so touristy, it usually gets busy with locals. really good bunuelos shop downstairs. easy to go around by uber/taxi or use a nearby metro station. I'm glad that I chose Laureles over El Poblado because it feels more real."

"El anfitrión al llegar no me saludó sólo me dijo que cuanto iba a pagar la noche cuando le dije el valor me dijo que había tenido un daño y que no nos podía recibir, al día siguiente un amigo fue y le cobró carísimo y la habitación estaba sucia, no tenía ventilador ni aire y las camas en pésima condicion, a él no le importa si uno se queda en la calle a él solo le interesa cobrar bien caro por un lugar que prácticamente se está callendo de lo viejo y del mugre."

"Every aspect of my stay was wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff here makes the difference. Natalia at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with each day and helped me (and several others) out a lot. The rest of the staff is awesome as well. The ladies who make breakfast each morning couldn't be sweeter people and we're always a good start to the day. Great location also, as everywhere I needed to go was a 10 minute walk or a quick cheap uber ride away. Would definitely stay...

"I would consider returning to factory lofts on my next visit to Medellin. The staff and the facilities were very nice. I was a little challenged with the bed being made up of two twin mattresses but this was not a big deal. Also there is a little bit of noise in the morning from the locals that tend to congregate before they go to work. I visit Medellin a lot in this is a nice place to stay."

"the only thing that I would consider as a negative is that you're kind of far away from everything and have to take a taxi the closest place to buy food if you wanted to use the refrigerator and stove or microwave is a 20 minute walk but other than that he was a great clean, upscale place"

"The best hotel I stayed in Medellin. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Walkable to the soccer stadium and some many restaurants and bars. The staff have excellent service, including the driver Jorge and the terrace bartender Hamilton. You also got up-front taxi service 24 hours a day. Definitely, I will stay again in this hotel. Very highly recommended."

"I have stayed here many times. It’s a nice clean hotel at a great price. I really enjoy their breakfast. They usually have a nice soup. I come to Medillen usually on errends. And it is a nice location next to a mall, the metro and a 15 minute walk to the best steak in Medillen at Aldo’s. It’s not a fancy hotel as the name states, but for being budget it is nice and I feel that it has gotten nicer in the last year. "
