"5 Night Stay close to family. Did the job, staff were excellent, my bed was a bit bouncy but wifes ok. Breakfast lovely could not fault. Bar reasonable priced and draft beer was good unlike some hotels we have stayed at. Little things that can make a difference to some people should be acted upon and not much to fix were: Needs new toilet roll holder and some paint to cover mould especially in bathroom. "We booked this for a wedding about 6 miles away. It was easy to access with a taxi late at night. We let them know if advance that we would be arriving around 10:30-11pm and they said no problem, a key would be in the bar area as bar was opened until 11:30. We arrived and the manager brought us to our room, which was lovely and clean, and we then went to have a drink at the bar and chatted with the staff until closing. Great sleep in a comfortable bed, great breakfast in the dining area. ...

"We decided on staying at The Anchor Inn because of it's close proximity to Foyle Park, where we were attending a wedding. Its quite a small pub with only 5 rooms ..We stayed in the Rupert Brookes room which was a fantastic size ..High ceiling with lovely beams .. I would say that there were 2 things that let the room down ..
