"Beautiful hotel, room, service from the staff and amenities! Unfortunately I got sick due to altitude and the hotel, besides some local herb infusions, didn’t have any medication to help fight the sickness. I understand they don’t want to be responsible for any contraindications or side effects but they should have medication available and simply have the guest sign a release of liability. The hotel is far away from any pharmacy so more than herbal choices should be made available "

"El hotel es super pequeño y alejado del centro considerando la poca frecuencia de taxis. El dia que llegamos fue muy temprano 6:30am. Nosotros dias antes tratamos de contactarnos con la propiedad para ver si podíamos tener un early check in, pero no tuvimos respuesta. Llegar ahi y no tener una habitación hasta la hora del check in fue bastante incomodo. The hike up the panoramic hill overlooking Lake Titticaca is right up the street. Restaurant (dinner weekends) is really nice, especially the servers. Very quiet location two blocks uphill. "

"Wonderful boutique hotel amongst the dusty and noisy streets of Uyuni. The surrounds were typical for the city unfortunately. We were only there for a night after the salt flats tour. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Only negative is that our room was very cold and we never figured out the heating. But that was more our fault than anything. "

"Sleeping pods, its all there is to it. Str8 forward. The do have very small lounge room, pretty emplty most times looks like. They charge hourly to sit there, even to already paying customers. I though that was dumb and abusing. The pors are not ACed and it get hot. The idea is not bad, speciually with these weired flight schedules. However, the service could be so much better. Its also not cheap for what it is. So, yeah… never again."

"The Tonito Hotel is the ONLY place to even consider staying in Uyuni! The hotel is truly an oasis in the salt desert! Chris and his team are top notch: very accommodating, friendly, helpful & just great people!! The restaurant (Minuteman Pizza) is EXCELLENT for both dinner & breakfast! The owners of the hotel are constantly on hand and are extremely active to ensure all their guests are happy! "
