"A perfect place from which to explore NoVa and DC. Walking distance to Metro and Amtrak, free trolley for jaunts to the waterfront. The hotel staff is friendly and responsive. Clean, well appointed rooms. Nice on-site gym. I shall surely stay at the Archer again."

"It does look a little tired on the outside, but the room was clean and bathroom updated. The bedroom furnishings could likewise use an update, but not bad. Despite their artist no smoking policy, the rom smelled a little like someone smoked in it. They have a nice outdoor park like setting and pool(it was closed for winter) The breakfast had a nice variety of options so that was good. "

"Hotel is in the southside of Alexandria, but if you have a car, it's very convenient to stay here and drive to Washington DC. It takes about 20 min to be in DC. We stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting DC and Old Town Alexandria. Hotel is clean and staff very friendly. They have good hot/cold options for breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles) and lots of space for the crowd having breakfast in the mornings. Room was enough for what we needed, with a little sink, refrigerator and microwave available. Although there doesn't seem to have quick access to public transportation and not walkable around, I would stay here again if I have my own vehicle"
