The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo

5.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (571)
"The hotel staff are excellent and prioritize a luxury feel. We had a massive suite that was very good size and if you stay in a room that has access to the club floor, the views are remarkable. The only detail that I wasn’t a fan of was the hotel is 17 years old and a lot of it looks and feels like something that was done and relevant 17 years ago, so it has a bit of vintage feel, if you like that."

Akasaka Urban Hotel Annex

2.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (127)
"The room fit exactly what I needed for a short stay. I was impressed by the overall cleanliness, especially of the bathroom. The staff spoke little English, which is to be expected. I was able to easily access JR to get around town. I would stay here again for the price and ease of check in and out."

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1000)
"I booked this neighborhood on the advice of Reddit posts who noted it's a good central base to explore the different parts of the city, and they were right. I was aware beforehand Akasaka is not a tourist attraction area in its own right. As for the hotel itself, I really appreciate the hotel staff for fulfilling my special request and always responding promptly to my Expedia messages. In person, they continued to be very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and sufficiently...
