"The shower did not drain properly and when I informed the hotel, they brought me extra towels to soak up the floor and it appeared to be fixed the next day. The amenity soaps at the bathtub were empty and again, the front desk immediately brought us replacements. I found the front desk staff very efficient and courteous. "Gorgeous hotel with outstanding service. Felt like royalty from the moment we arrived until saying the last good byes. Irene, the concierge, spent considerable time highlighting sights, restaurants, and bodegas to visit. Seemed genuinely glad to help. From the always smiling bellhops, front desk staff, breakfast staff, to the cleaning help, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. "I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. I actually liked the hotel food!!! Nice bar. It really surprised me. The only thing i could possibly critique is the room.doors are not totally soundproof...

"This property was very comfortable and welcoming. The room had personal touches including a handwritten welcome card, half bottle of wine and snacks. The spa/sauna needs to be reserved per use and was a bit inconvenient as we were instructed to come down in bathrobes and slippers. But it was mostly empty and easy to access. "Nice hotel, although little worn and not maybe fully 5 star worthy. It would have been great if the pools (or at least one) of the outdoor pools would be heated. But it was nice to have small indoor pool (spa area was not open for kids). Food was good and kids club and entertainment very nice! Right next to beach and boulevard. Nice shops and cafes nearby. "
