"This is an airbnb/ hostel style. But the service and cleanliness and level of the people that book here are nothing like most hostels. The host is AWESOME! She does everything to make her guests feel good and welcome. Breakfast is simple but efficient and good. The room was cozy, clean and all amenities worked great. I would stay here again but truly, it’s the host that makes this place excellent. She truly cares for her guests. "

"If you are looking for an easy access to the mountains at a good price it is the place to go. The room was very clean and the mattress very comfortable. We had a room w/out bathrooms so we used the common bathroom and it was very clean and organized, they provided you with towels, shampoo, conditioners and soap like any hotel bathroom would. "Great spot away from the busy Tokyo area. The rooms and the hotel is special in its own way and has a lot of character. Felt like being in my grandparents home. Really enjoyed staying here and it made it incredibly easy to walk to and from the train station to get bus tickets. Would definitely tell friends to stay here in the future. "

About 10 minutes walk from sakka lifts at Happo and hotel runs shuttle services to and from the slopes each day either direct to Happo, goryu or bus terminal and then bus take you onwards to the many other Hakuba slopes. "Wonderful stay! I was a solo traveler staying in hakuba for the snowboarding and I met new friends during my stay at this hotel! Theres a nice community lounge where people get warm and share stories about their day! Its also a 13min walk from Skyline Gondola and has many bars, restaurants, and food truck along the way!"
