"Toshi and Meg are delightful hosts. Toshi even picked me up at the train station, intuitively knowing that I'd be there. I did not request this service, it was something he did on his own to make me feel welcome. "

"I stayed here for three weeks and really enjoyed it! Close to the Cortina and Norikura slopes and if you wanna go into town or the other ski areas, the bus stop is literally just outside the door. Nice owner, free use of the kitchen to make my own food, good wi-fi connection and great help with my ski equipment that I rented there. Totally recommend this place!"

"Toilets were not as expected. (No wash-lets). There was a problem while using both toilets at same time. (When flushing the upstairs toilet, it is difficult to sit on down stairs toilet. water will pop-up). Using kerosine heaters are not good for the closed rooms. There was no air ventilation system."

"The most memorable trip to Hakuba yet! Yoko and staff now have a customer for life. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the property was situated in a perfect spot between the slopes and the night life. I have already recommended This spot to all of my American friends. I will return!!!!!!"

"This is a new hotel in Hakuba. The room is clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has shuttle bus to Happo One and Hakuba 47. A rental store is right next to the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel is very nice. We also walked around to explore the local restaurants. We had a very pleasant experience!"

"This is a lovely lodge where we spent our Xmas family holiday. The main room is great with its wooden beams and high wooden ceiling. We had no complaints about cleanliness. The kitchen is small, but has a useful grill and 3 induction plates on the hob. There are 2 toilets - one in the shower room and one separate one, as well as a separate bath and washing area. The sofa is not very comfy, but the 8 cosy chairs around the main table make up for it. The reception staff are very friendly. If...

Onsen-fabulous

"Really lovely hotel - next to Daiwa shopping centre and on the main tram route (hotel will give you free tram tickets on request) The onsen facilities are extremely good and the main reason to pick this hotel over its competitors. No gym but multiple franchise gyms in the vicinity. 5 minutes away is the incredible coffee shop “Sixth or Third” (English-speaking)"
