"You can walk about two minutes and be at a little supermarket. But warning there are homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk. I did feel safe at night going for a beer and something to eat on the beach almost in front of the hotel. The staff is amazing"

The hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options. Like the rest of Rio city centre - it isn’t a neighbourhood to walk around at night due to safety. Internet was excellent but got choppy on a couple of occasions. The decor is modern-contemporary and the hotel is very clean and well maintained. Overall, Hotel Atlantico Prime offers a great and convenient experience for travellers - very popular with group travellers as well as GLBTQ community looking for a comfortable stay in the centre."

"The fitness center was small with 2 functional treadmill, 1 elliptical, 1 stationary bike, and a weight machine. It would have been nice during the rainy days to have had more equipment. Elevator got busy with a full hotel and it took about 5-7 mins to get up or down the building. "
