"This property has a great location but doesn't mean that cleaniness should be sacrificed. This is an old building but it doesn't mean that the apartment shouldn't be up kept. The paint, the furniture, the sinks in the bathroom and kitchen, the toilet were all old and dirty. There was even a roach walking on the shower curtain. I've stayed at many small old apartments in many apartments but never like this one."

"The apartment needs serious updates if not a complete renovation. The microwave plug doesn’t reach the outlet. The kitchen cookware is rusty and bent. We found a dead roach in a tea cup. Black mold in the shower. The drawers in the bedroom were broken. A light bulb was missing and another one was burnt out. They left one toilet paper roll for a two week stay. "The unit was safe, quiet, and had a lot of things to do in the area. The 24 hour doorman/security staff was also very nice. Unfortunately, the unit was infested with cockroaches (many of all sizes every day throughout the entire stay, not just one here and there). Also several items were either broken (e.g., window shades) or very old (e.g., bedding). I mentioned the infestation issue to the rental staff on site , however based on the response I am not overly optimistic it will be resolved...
