"Great location. Rooms have been updated with nice bathrooms, fridge and AC units. Needs a safe to store valuables and passports. Beach towels were not easily accessible. Some days you could get towels and on some ocassions beach towels were denied by the front office. Pool area was dirty. Pool had leaves in it and the water was murky. Outdoor beach areas had limited seating and frequently were full of empty cans and garbage."

"There are not enough superlatives to describe Casa Kalmar. The property is beautiful. The view is divine. The breakfast is plentiful: fruit yogurt and granola to start then fresh cooked hot food. The staff will do anything for you. We had the top floor room that was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend. The cats and dog were good company. It was perfect. As seasoned world travellers this place is now in our top five best accommodations list. Don't think twice it's all right."

"The property was well kept and well planned. The pool was fantastic. We decided that we would not stay at a property that did not offer a pool after enjoying this pool. Our room was possibly the only one on the site that did not have a balcony, which was a pity! The breakfast is simple and very tasty. "I stayed in a beautiful cabana on a very quiet hill. I think this is a family run business. They offer breakfast in the morning from 9:30 am to 12 off of a menu made fresh. There is a little café area/bar where the Internet is better. I got lots of mosquito bites sitting there, however. My cabana itself had a fan over the bed, and a mosquito net, but it didn’t close all the way, so I had to use a hair clip to close it. And I hung my towel over the opening as well. "Casa Vanora sits on a hill overlooking beautiful Bahia San Agustín. The hotel just opened in April 2024 and was only 4 months old when we stayed there. The drive there was a little intense and I would not recommend it if you don’t have experience driving in Mexico. Romantic getaway, or a place to self reflect and have a place to getaway for the hustle this is your place. The chef has an exquisite menu and caters to profession.
