"Staff — excellent. Food — very good. Location — amazing. But two minor quibbles. 1. Bar closes at 6 — right when I start thinking about a cocktail. There is a space above the reception that is set up like a bar but was never open the two times we stayed there. 2. Rooms are luxurious but there is no glass in the windows/doors so when it is hot (most of the time in Zihuatanejo) you have all the shutters closed for A/C so no view at all. "I booked a room here for a week to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The property and staff are simply amazing...I can't imagine there is a better spot to stay in Zihua. Carmen, Luis, and all the staff made us feel like royalty. We stayed in the Alejandra suite (Expedia calls it the Romantic suite). "This property was perfect for relaxation. It is gorgeous and the presidential villa was amazing. Every room was comfortable with adequate ac and the common area was large enough for a a family.
