"We really enjoyed the novelty of staying on a houseboat. There is a restaurant and swim area in the marina which we took advantage of. There is also a convenience store, but it wasn't open when we were there. The nearby town of Naarden is adorable. The houseboat is new and in great condition. It is exactly as see in the photos. "Wat een belevenis met twee 10-jarige vriendinnekes. Hun top 10 had alles te maken met de boot op onze 4-daagse trip: de leefruimte, de quality time op de boot, de kip en aardappels op de BBQ grill, de boot trip op de Vinkeveense Plas met Victor. De ontvangst was hartelijk en we vonden alles in propere en gezellige staat. Alles was er om er een gezellige mini vakantie van te maken: lakens, extra dekens, handdoeken, vaatgerief, zelf koffie. "We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not.
