"The hotel is fine, obviously you cannot expect a full blown service for the price rate, but I was mostly out driving to places outside GDL. I came alone, just to take pictures on Chapala, Guachimontones, Hueytitan, and others, so I was mostly out all day. I had the room just to have some privacy and sleep. "This was a very interesting property. Covered with artwork and sculptures. It must be a great amount of work to keep this place dusted and clean. Our room was dated and worn. Really could have been cleaner. There was a kitchen but had no dish soap or tea towels or dish cloths. But for the price I think it was alright. We had a suite. I had booked a king bed but was given two doubles. We had our chihuahua with us and the area was safe to walk him. Lots of good restaurants to choose from. "
