"This is my second stay there. One thing that need to be improved is renovation as hotel is very old. House keeping does not fill room with coffees, teas when it's run out. Restaurant serves breakfast at 7 but staff does not come until 7:40. No beach towels even though hotel is closer to the beach. "Daniela was a fantastic and welcoming host. This historic, well appointed hotel will be a favorite memory and repeat visit. The food was delicious. The coffee and beds were some of the best I've had in Africa. Daniela and I had a great conversations and she arranged a prison island tour for us. "Beautiful heritage hotel in the center of Stone Town, close to many attractions. Room was super large and carefully decorated with local artifacts and furniture.
