"Loved the pool. Parking was great and easy. Location was easy to find. Staff were helpful. Showers were very small. Bathrooms smelled a bit - plumbing problems perhaps need fixing. Hotel is a bit dated and needs a renovation."

"Great family business, super friendly and these guys all went out of their way to make this a memorable trip, even driving us out of Palmi to take us to a neighbouring town. "Upon arrival, and until Departure, we thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Étoiles Luxury Guest House. We stayed in the apartment with the patio and it was perfect for our needs, staff were helpful when we reached out for assistance. Have a beach and sunset to ourselves each evening a particular highlight. "

"Stayed here one night. Felt safe and our car stayed in the garage which is gated. Big bathroom small shower. It was 3 of us and each of us stayed in a twin. Too small for us but one night worked. Big complaint was no ac. It was hard to sleep since i was hot. If we opened the window no screen to stop any bug. Breakfast could be way better. It was limited. Over all though i liked it and neighborhoods was quiet. P.S. bring cash to this town if you are american. Was hard to pump gas since it didn't...

"The outside of the property is a bit deceiving, it looks a little plain, but the inside is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this location for anyone travelling in the area."

"No restaurant even though still advertising as available Hotel is literally miles from nearest restaurant on mountainous roads with no lighting. We arrived after a long journey tired and hungry, only to be told nearest restaurant was 9 miles away. We paid for breakfast included and received a long life croissant an apple and orange on first morning, thereafter NOTHING There was no heating, in January and hence sheets were damp. We couldn’t wait to leave "

"The hotel is not very close to anything and walking outside the hotel I would not recommend. Roads are busy and steep hills. Nothing really around you. Rooms are very old and damp. Hotel music very loud until midnight at times. Pool and beach are adequate. "

"O hotel é simples mas confortável. O café da manhã foi bom. A localização é que não é muito boa para quem está sem carro. Necessário usar táxi para se locomover. Os donos foram super gentis e nos deixaram tomar café 30 minutos antes do início para que pudéssemos sair mais cedo e pegar o trem,"

"The room was simple but clean, a great home base while enjoying the area. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We had an issue with our toilet seat that was fixed shortly after we reported it. We easily walked everywhere we needed to, but the hotel was set away from the hustle and bustle so that was nice. As expected there was stairs to get to and from the beach so we got a bit of a workout but not so bad that we minded ot a few times a day, at the beach we could rent an umbrella and chairs for tbe day or just enjoy the other part of the beach without. The hotel beakfast was fantastic but we did not take advantage of the other meals available. We would choose this hotel again for the location, great staff, and cleanliness of the hotel. Oh, and the view... amazing! We planned originally for 2 nights at this hotel but ended up adding a 3rd before our trip and a 4th night after we were there a couple days because we enjoyed it so much. We traveled as two adults with a yound child."

"This place is simply incredible! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and were so impressed with the hotel and incredible views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The resort was clean and safe, the beds very comfortable and the staff always friendly and helpful. The terrace is absolutely pristine and we felt like we had it all to ourselves at times during our October visit. The historic old town centre with plenty of restaurants and shopping is a short 7-8 minute walk away. Check out the Santuario Santa Maria dell'Isola and the beautiful sand beaches surrounding it. Shout out to Selena, Pawel the bartender and all the staff for making this trip such a memorable experience. This place will not dissapoint you and we look forward to coming back to Tropea and staying at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in the near future."

Falkensteiner Club Funimation Garden Calabria - All inclusive

"Travelled in June 2024 with family, great entertainment based resort on the seaside of Curinga/Acconia. Well organised, we fully enjoyed the experience and holiday too, beautiful rooms and amenities. Great authentic Italian food and premium drinks served at all the times, definitely recommend the All-inclusive formula. Live music at evenings and night with local band (bravo and applauses to all the guys of the band!) Marvellous “fritto di Caterina” and beach bar walking distance from the resort. Round of applauses for the kids club organisation “Falky” with everyday different activities entertained by the lovely staff, in particular Lilly, Ilenia and Abril who were absolutely fantastic and attentive towards the little ones! Our child loved the atmosphere and the kids club staff. Amazing staff, from reception to chefs and waiters that effortlessly prepared everything to perfection on daily basis, in both of the main restaurant and in the “Pentolo and Grill”… you must try the outstanding “Paccheri with seafood” Well done also to housekeeping team for the cleaning and organisation of the rooms! Definitely RECOMMEND and looking forward to go back!"
