"Excellent location next to the train station Upon arrival we was greeted by a very cheerful friendly receptionist called Dean that went out of his way to make us welcome and he upgraded our room which made our stay wonderful. "Very comfortable and convenient hotel. Easy to walk to from the railway station. Easy also to walk onto York centre to do tourist attractions. Loved the restaurant on the roof terrace. The downstairs restaurant was also excellent for dinner and for breakfast. We paid a little more for a club room which had a generous seating area and a city view."
