I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. "The first time we have stayed here, the cottage was so lovely, warm homely and clean. We only had to walk around the corner to The Blue Bell Inn and had a wonderful meal. "We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. "The Milking Parlour is a hidden gem set in wonderful surroundings in the country ,but just a short drive from the park and ride into York, I received a detailed text message on how to find it and where to park. The cottage itself is extremely clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and bath and the beds give a great nights sleep.
