"Beautifully converted late 1800s building. The rooms were spacious with very high ceilings. Probably 18 feet high. The Refuge restaurant had excellent food and lots of different choices. The Sunday Roast was delicious. Breakfast was a large buffet including all of the typical “full English” items along with many other options. Highly recommend "

"First, beautiful hotel I have never seen marble walls like that before, amazing hall, nice staff very accommodating, our room was simple double room then bathroom then single room bathroom was newly renovated but bedroom it self needs attention, overall a beautiful hotel I will definitely stay again very central location with an incredible value."

"Just an amazing hotel. Very retro/industrial vibe to the hotel and rooms. The room was absolutely huge with a steel plated drinks bar. The bathroom was immense and the rain forest shower was to die for. Let’s be honest, there are cheaper hotels but this hotel is not that much more than a “main stream hotel” with its bog standard corporate rooms and delivers so much more in terms of atmosphere, relaxation and being pampered. Would stay again at a drop of a hat. Just do it and spoil yourself. Make a memory for the “memory rucksack of life” and don’t think about the cost as no pockets in a shroud…. "

"Easy access from airport. Early AM transportation to terminal provided. Amenities for eating excellent , and very friendly staff. Room clean and comfortable, and bathroom very clean."
