"Michael is a gentleman, he was very quick to sort out an issue that arose during my stay. He went out of his way to do all he could to make the stay more relaxed and enjoyable. Please don't think you're paying for a hotel room at this price however, what I got I was more than happy with and while lots of people will complain, you get what you pay for. For Liverpool football fans this place is literally right next door! Look out the windows and you can literally reach out and touch the Stadium! "

"Simon and Sue welcomed us as old friends of the family and after 2 days we thought we were. They are lovely people, very obliging, we had a fantastic breakfast included. They provided excellent advice on the sights of Liverpool and transport to and from, including the Mersey Ferry, Thankyou for the lift, and a personalised map. Every part of our stay was easy. We thank Simon and Sue for a wonderful stay. Pam and I can not recommend 2 The Rocklands highly enough. 10 out of 5 stars."

"When we arrived we were greeted as we parked up and our bags were taken to our room which was on the 2nd floor. The room was clean and fresh. We were given a time for breakfast with a variety of options. Food was delicious, hot and well presented. The owners were always available until 7pm and very helpful about where to go if eating out or wanting entertainment. We would definately recommend and stay again however as sisters in our 70's we would ask for a room on the lower floor."

"We spent 4 nights at The Braemar Hotel, Michael the host was there to greet us, he gave us local information of where to eat etc. We were travelling to Liverpool by train for the day and he was very helpful by giving directions to the train station and times of trains etc. The hotel itself was lovely, clean and had all the extras to make our stay comfortable.
