"It’s the middle of summer and no fan is provided. I asked and they never responded. They saw my message on WA but chose to ignore me. Then when I called because their lock box was broken they answered the phone straight away. This property is LOUD. Friday night people walking by talking loudly and the adjacent busy road is also very loud. The stairs are STEEP. Not great for young children but we made it work. "Convenient for town and free parking nearby. Beds were comfy but there were a few cleanliness issues especially in the Communal hallway. Lacked a few kitchen essentials and we were surprised to be expected to take our rubbish home. That’s simply not practical for most people! "

"First visit to Deal. Had read the reviews and found the Clarendon fully met with expectations. Great view of the sun sea and sky, not to mention the pier! Truly a great spot. Parking nearby was easy. Dining options all within a very few minutes walk. Very easy to relax and have a great time at the Clarendon.
