"In town for a basketball tournament. Stayed one night. Was very convenient for where the venue was located. Only 15-20 minutes away from an outlet mall and lots of other conveniences nearby. Raising Canes, Starbucks, and Walmart are literally a parking lot away. Also an Aldi right down the road. Staff was very friendly when checking in and out. "The hotel was inexpensive and clean. Staff was friendly. My only issue was the breakfast; only juice, coffee, and packaged muffins were set out. That does not consistute a breakfast. We went to the store and brought back food to make a real meal in the room microwaves. Aside from that, we had a good experience."

That said there were many rooms with no numbers on the door, my key took about 10 trys before it would let me in, they had to bring in a lamp because one of the ones in the room didn't work, and we found someone else's leggings in our room as we were packing to leave. Not hidden, and didn't see them the day before. There was no microwave or desk in the room. Never...

"The laundry room was not available at all. There was no dishes, pots and pans, silverware available for purchase. Water kept getting cold in the shower. No shampoo or bath soap at check-in. Air conditioner/heater unit was loud. I have been staying at another Extended Stay America in Vernon Hills which was very nice compared to Home Studios Red Roof."

"We had the most miserable stay here there were rats running around in our room and the room was so old and dirty and had mold everywhere they should have been condemned and never allowed to rent these rooms to people that where here for a military graduation!!! After I sent pictures to the manager we were given a full refund but they should have done more for us because I was so embarrassed because we had family and infants with us and I was sick, this place was just horrible and I still have...
