"The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We were there in the off season and arrived in a heavy rain and the staff made the check in process easy. We did an excurision for the hotel in a long boat to the islands with our guide Pong. I highly recommend it was great experience swimming in the lagoon, enjoying the beach and observation tower. "This was such a lovely stay, strong AC, beautiful bathroom, fresh towels, and comfy bed/pillows which is so hard to find in Thailand for an affordable price!! Luxury last 3 days of honeymoon

"This was just luxury for our last 3 nights of honeymoon the horizon sea view room was perfect, the bedding was the most comfortable & the best sleep we’ve ever had! The staff were all so friendly & the food was incredible, breakfast had so much choice the eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. We ate at Sala restaurant & by the pool also & both meals were fantastic. We can recommend the Lamb chops. We really can’t fault this hotel, the facilities, staff, food & rooms were all excellent to finish our holiday. The location was good for us & the beach club just across the road was a perfect spot on the beach. We actually booked this 2 weeks before as our original choice hotel on its own beach & needed a speedboat to get to suddenly started to get some really poor reviews & we were getting worried but we are so glad we changed to the Varana as it really was top class "

"Nice area, great room, comfy bed, loud aircondition and party until midnight. Breakfast wasn‘t so good like the other recommendations said. A big selection but everything a little bit dirty and too much. Poolarea was always full because some people reserve the place with there towels in the morning. Liked the view, the shower and the service. "

"Amazing resort off Phuket - easy to get to as hotel transfer was well organised. The pools and beach weee lovely. Hotel buffet breakfast was great with traditional live Thai music playing and we also attended a fire and Thai dancing dinner show. Highly recommend! "
