"The hotel is a historic place and shows its age but still is a very comfortable environment. Eventhough it is across the street from a 5star property, getting a taxi is time consuming. Breakfast was good but the bar closed early. If you're out to a show or dining, when you get back to the hotel it's pretty much only a place to sleep. "

"This was my second stay at the Royal Sonesta. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You absolutely know that customer service is a priority. This time, I stayed in a smaller room as it was a quick business trip. I did notice a difference in sheet quality in the smaller room: not as soft. I suspect lower thread count which for me doesn't make for the best of sleep. "
