Specifically, rooms are NOT air conditioned, and this is very uncomfortable during Ottawa’s increasingly frequent heat waves. Also, common areas are jammed with stuff making it feel disorganized, untidy, dark and dusty. The furniture in my room was mismatched and very worn — beyond vintage charm.
