The hotel is nice and clean, the front desk service needs to be educated about tourist identification information. American passport does not need a resident card as a 2nd Identification. The state driver license contains the photo of the person as the passport holder. I was charged the local tax because they do not validate my passport.

(almost) no disappointments
Let's start with the staff. Always friendly, willing to help, and they seem to be happy on the job. The room had a decent size, good bathroom with shower, good linen, no complaints here. One (tiny) bit of criticism, the breakfast buffet. I have seen buffets in other restaurants in Colombia, in the same category, that had more to offer. But that is really all I have to critisize at this point.
