Internet connection is non existing, when I asked for internet help to check in for my flight, may be business center (they have conventions there), I offered to pay for better connection, answer was - cant help, keep trying to connect!!! The location of this property is very convenient to get to train station - and airline bus to the airport ! In terms of the hotel - the room was average and there were some cracks and chips in the floor of the bathroom. The room looked like it needed a refurbishment. We could not get the aircon to work in the room either - which was very warm and when opening the window - it produced a lot of noise from the road below which is busy at all hours. In our room there was also the smell of cigarettes and both myself and partner are non smokers. The lobby and bar area look very well decorated and cosy. Ok for a quick overnight stay if needed - with a bit of an update I think this hotel would be fine !

Quick walk to the main train station. Into the city is a little further but manageable. Room service is exceptional. The river and fountain area in front of the hotel is great to relax at after a day walking the city. Breakfast options were wonderful.

I have never experienced such excellent service in such an elegant yet approachable setting with a restaurant so well run that I returned to dine twice. The staff provided directions for walking there from the train station and spoke English or German to assist me. I could walk or bike to the Arena. The decor followed an opera theme, with lots of polished wood in the room. Breakfast and dinner tasted fantastic and were attended by friendly staff. It was hard to leave this hotel because I enjoyed it so much.
