"Another tourist referred to the area as "grungy", I think that means dirty & common to see drug use & homeless people. In saying that this is probably what the area is known for & part of the attraction. The location was fantastic, literally right on the beach, & all the staff were also great, & once we got the "grunge thing" really appreciated the location. If you want to be in the middle of it this is probably the most cost effective place to do it."

"On a adoré le déjeuner inclus, la proximité de la plage, l'accueil du personnel et le resto pizza ouvert tard. Cependant, nous étions très déçus que le Rooftop bar fermait à 20h, car c'était une des raisons principales d'aller à cet hotel. Pour le service aux chambres, nous avons demandé à 2 reprises de remplir le savon dans la douche, mais sans succès. Nous nous sommes lavés avec du shampooing tout le long du séjour."

"Hotel was right on the boardwalk and we walked to many restaurants and bars. The coffee shop just outside of the hotel is amazing “groundwork”. Hotel history was awesome. The rooms are small but do the job. I liked that you could rent a bike. Venice beach is full of many “characters”. "

"We were so pleased with the size of the room we had, it was it appeared in the photos with the kitchen. The bedroom was small, you could only access the double bed from one side, but it was very comfortable. Location excellent, staff incredibly helpful and accomodating."

"Loved this property. In spite of the proximity to a busy street, we found it quiet enough and safe. Curbside parking is iffy, so we opted to spend the additional $20 for the secure garage. Just wish we had time to enjoy the rooftop seating area and fire pit. Everything was thoughtfully appointed. Will definitely try to stay here again!"
