"The hotel is brand new, it was open in December 2024. It has 3 restaurants, a buffet offering asian, indian and international food, a great italian restaurant with great pizza, and one of the best authentic thai restaurant with the most amazing staff. The hotel has a good kids.club, 3 slides for kids, a lazy river (bring your floatings), and about 3 main beaches. "Everything was great! It is a very short ride from Malè International Airport, which we loved. The island is small and you have privacy. We really enjoyed that there is kind of semi-private beach in front of every house, and the reefs are very nice for snorkelling. The food was great, and the stuff was amazing. The resort is very small, which on the one hand is very quiet and relaxing, but on the other side in case it's raining continuously, you have limited options on how to spend your time. "

"The food at Baros is top notch. Breakfast was fantastic every day that I was there. I stayed in an overwater villa with great views. Snorkeling at the house reef gave way to views of wonderful underwater life. When I come back to Maldives, I will book this place without hesitation. As for the expedia option of pre-paying for dinner, don't. Just go a la cart and not feel obligated to eat at the same restaurant. "The property was beautiful overall. There was some remodeling at the nearest restaurant that required me to do a bit of walking from my resort area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a special way of welcoming you back if you were a returning guest. Overall, 9/10. "

"We reached Male late at night, so it made financial sense and was also a safer option to stay in Male for the night and continued our journey to the island resort in the next Morning. We chose Jen, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel is like 15mins drive from the airport. They offer airport transfer on both directions. Walking out of the arrival hall, we were greeted by the hotel driver/staff, which was seamless. We had the executive room, which was quite spacious. The toilet and showering were in separate rooms. The building and rooms were a bit dated, but very clean. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. We had no complaint at all. The morning breakfast buffet was at lvl1. It is not sumptuous, but has decent spread including bread, porridge, some warm and cold dishes. The hotel also has a swimming pool and gym on the roof. After breakfast, the hotel sent us back to the jetty where we found and boarded the island resort speed boat. Overall, it's a pleasant stay and trouble free. IMO, this hotel is a good choice for Male layover. "

"The island is beautiful and very relaxing. Being able to walk out of our villa onto the beach and snorkel with the amazing sea life was the highlight of the trip for us. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with special mention to Helan, our housekeeper, and the wait staff in Bageecha Restaurant who were particularly attentive. Towards the end of our stay, we were thrilled to receive a complementary room upgrade to a stunning water villa. It was such a treat for our last night. Overall, it was an incredible trip that we will never forget."

"Our stay in Bandos couldn’t have been better. We stayed in a Superior Beach Villa, 1 minute walk from the beach. Room was very clean and serviced every morning whilst we were at breakfast. We went all inclusive and were very happy with what was included and what wasn’t. Food choices from the buffet were excellent and the restaurant staff were great. As we had a late return flight we booked a massage at the spa and spent a couple of hours before and after relaxing on the sun beds and shower before departure. Risma and Ploy gave us a great massage. We definitely will be back to Bandos - it’s just a matter of saving up!!!!"

"A wonderful stay at the CRF with its superb facilities and many diverse eating options. A special mention to Shana, Yaya and especially to Shohel who kept our over water villa spotlessly clean and tidy and was always helpful and pleasant. The staff at CRF always had a greeting with a smile. We will return!"

"The Hard Rock Hotel is great. Clean, with natural beauty, and cheerful staff. The only hiccup is when we got there, late in the day, the dining options seemed to be limited, and the hotel app, was kinda clunky, with restaurant bookings. I was frustrated. We had not eaten since before noon and we were not too happy about the general lack of immediate food. Every restaurant seemed to require reservations, and the app was, as I said, clunky. I walked to reception and kindly asked if we could order a Red Cross emergency food drop by helicopter outside our bungalow. The nice guy there got us in at the Hard Rock restaurant without reservations. It all turned out well and we were soon happy. Everything else at the hotel afterwards was great, when we got into the swing of things. It’s a really nice place indeed. If you have a midnight flight out from Male, consider visiting the city of Male in the late afternoon. Yes, the city is a dump, but it does have its own little charm. The people there are really great. I had motorcyclists stop in the middle of the road for fear they would ruin a picture I was taking. Extremely nice people indeed. Walk around the fish and vegetable market and pick up some snacks. Overall it was worth the quick visit. There is also a mosque made of coral in Male. Worth a look. We couldn’t go in because it was some sort of Muslim holiday or something. We took a taxi from the airport to town and another taxi back again. We had fun with this little excursion. "
