"This property was great for my family and I. My only complaint was that it was impossible to find. We didn't receive the real address until check in time. Maybe it was our cell service but we we're unable to find the address given. Once we found it, we dropped a pin to remember how to get back each time we left the apartment. Everything else was great- the property helped us with anything we needed such as extra towels and toilet paper. "

"I stayed here for one night only as I was passing through Valetta on my last night in Malta and must say I was very impressed. Communication with the host was extremely easy and they allowed bags to be stored even after checkout. The property was in a great location near the centre of Valetta with lots of bars and restaurants nearby, with the room itself very large in size and even came with a seperate living space. I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Malta's capital city once...

"We had an amazing stay, the property is excellent - well maintained and clean throughout. It was very well located, with restaurants and shops less than 5 minutes away, a short walk to the local beach, and easy to either get to the bus terminal or have a taxi come to the door. Would love to stay again and can highly recommend. "

"Lägenheten har ingen utsikt, som att man bor i en källarlokal. Det går avloppsrör i vardagsrummet och ljud av rinnande vatten är ständig. När soffan har bäddats ut finns inga sitt möjligheter i vardagsrummet. Köket är litet och trångt för tre personer. Kackerlackor tar sig in i bostaden trotts bra städning. Snabb svar från uthyraren och trevlig bemötande. "

"The apartment was central and was easy to walk to all things to do. Room 5 was good size, with balcony , good size bed and good shower. The roof top terrace has fantastic views and comfortable for an evening drink. "

"It was poor communication to find the location as they gave us a different address, it was only with a very kind passer-by that helped as they had wifi. When we got in we discovered a double sofa bed ,not a ‘real bed were in ou.r mid 80s.there is no window to open .it ended up being a poor choice ."

"It’s a nice comfortable place to stay but it is located on a noisy street due to automobile traffic."

"It was a good stay just the check in was pretty rough as they sent me a link that was to the wrong address and the hotels.com website had it at a location around the corner. Apparently they have two properties next to each other. The wifi was terrible always cutting out which made it hard tk do work. Outside of those two thing it was a good stay. Good location and great views from the terrace. "

"The service was excellent from the very start. Shortly after we completed the online booking, the hotel reached out to confirm our arrival time and offered to arrange a taxi if needed. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with drinks, and since the previous guests had already checked out, we were able to check in early. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay—exceptionally friendly and a pleasure to interact with. The room exceeded our expectations—much better than what the online photos had suggested. We were given a complimentary drink each evening too. The location was ideal, just a short walk (under 5 minutes) to the heart of Valletta. Bus 133, which stops just around the corner from the hotel, made it easy to get around central Malta as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Malta. Attached is a photo capturing the stunning sunset from the hotel’s rooftop bar."

"Well located in the old city of Valletta, and in a very well done conversion of lovely old buildings. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very professional. Our bedroom was very generously sized with windows opening onto a light well in the centre of the building. One minor criticism was a lack of drawers for clothes that don't hang up. There would have been ample room for a chest of drawers but it meant leaving some clothes in our cases. The roof terrace area and pool is a great asset. Breakfast choices were great with a variety to suit all tastes. Would be very happy to stay at Palais Le Brun again."

"The room i had (duplex suite) was larger than I expected, i very impressed. It clean and very well appointed. Access was easy through a Starbucks and to a private elevator for hotel guests. I found the location perfect for walking around the old town of Valletta and seeing the sights. Although the street where the hotel is located doesn't allow vehicles it was only a 4/5 minutes walk from the taxi drop off opposite the Triton Fountain public square and the city's bus station.. Even though it's location is in a busy part of Valletta you don't hear the noise at all . The rooms come with muti regional plug sockets so you don't to bring an adaptor for your UK appliances such as to use your UK phone charger. I found the staff to be very polite, friendly and a credit to the hotel. For a 3* hotel I was beyond impressed..and would gladly stay there again in a heartbeat "

Well done Hotel Cumberland!

"We had an excellent stay at the Cumberland Hotel and found it offered high standards in all areas, including reception, room cleanliness and facilities, and a varied and delicious breakfast. We found all the staff to be extremely welcoming and friendly and were highly impressed by the speed in which a problem with a loose tap in our bathroom was dealt with. The hotel is located in a very central location in the beautiful city of Valletta and we really miss hearing the bells of St John's Cathedral close by. Our only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of sun parasols for seating on the roof terrace as the high temperatures prevented any possibility of relaxing there for more than a few minutes. An all round most enjoyable stay though."
