"This was a great place to stay on our recent trip to the Basque country and Rioja; in a small village in the rolling hills before the mountains which is also on the Camino trail. Rosario is an excellent host with really good advice on places to visit, where to dine, Bodegas etc. She recommended we went to Escaray for the evening which was a lovely detour up into the nearby mountain range."

"I am very surprised with the rating of this establishment. We had trouble finding it as it looks nothing like the main picture on hotel.com which more like the town hall than the hotel. We arrived at 7.30 only to be told the kitchen closed at 8.00. This is very unusual as most Spanish restaurants only open about 8. I booked a double room with additional single bed and we were given smallish room containing two singles. In the restaurant, we were given a choice of pork chicken or hamburger...
