5/5 Excellent
"We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. BUT I have to say that never we felt cold as heater quickly warmed up both room and bathroom, and it stayed so.
We absolutely loved interior of our little room. Location is very convenient, too - just off the not overly busy A road and the fact that we were able to park our car just in front of our lodge.
We checked in quite late that day and first we missed the place. Be careful as navigation might take you to a nearby cottage under the same name which also happens to be on the same side of the road about 2 minutes down the road. If you find yourself in front of little private road - you are in the wrong place (like it happened with us). Turn around and go towards the big round about (not local, so I cannot remember how its called, but it is something that's easy to spot on maps).
All our stay was lovely. We went to eat in the restaurant/pub that is on the same premises, and were very happy with or order. Praises to the chef for lovely soup of the day and haggis bites - just what we needed after long and cold day on the road.
Definitely would come back again."
