"This is not a Hotel, this is basically an AirB&B with escalated prices for a room with shared bathroom and shared also with owner. The owner was nice enough but we paid £97 for night (not worth it) compared to £65 at Ibis hotel in Liverpool (Albert Docks) - air conditioning, own bathroom and much more comfort. This ‘Hotels.com’ need to vet what people are offering. I am actually quite offended by what I was offered and will now use other sites to book ACTUAL hotels! "
"The mattress was old and uncomfortable with no mattress protector on the bed aslo the pillows were old and stained.
The two windows had different curtains and very thin which let the street lights shine in all night."
"It was quite good value overall. Some of the flooring near the kitchen area was a bit worn and I wasn’t certain that the heating would have worked if we had needed it. "Ideal location and the lounge is beautiful. When zi arrived, I felt like I was about to enter a private club with rooms. A great find with low nightly rate. "
"Second stay at the Municipal, a great hotel in Liverpool. Pretty sure I'll be back. Only minor flaw was the towel rail in the bathroom which seemed to be constantly on."
"This is always our favourite place to stay in liverpool due to its excellent location. Reception staff are always welcoming and helpful as are the restaurant staff."
