"Hotel Fontanella was wonderful. The views from the hotel are far superior than those in town, which was very nice. The room was nice overall, brought up to date in recent years to feel more modern. The only downside of the hotel was the lack of explanation of the amenities when we checked in, which made us look like idiots when we kept asking about certain things."

"Great hotel, exceeded expectations. Staff always friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities, really nice indoor and outdoor pool. V good gym, excellent quality breakfast with a chef who was always friendly and would cook to order each morning. Room always nice and cool after a warm and sweaty day out, air con also v quiet. "Lovely property with great sized pool - perfect for the family and nice and quiet. 10 min walk to supermarket and a 20 min walk to riva centre. Very helpful staff who couldn’t do enough to help us."

Breakfast is amazing, with delicious traditional cheeses, eggs made to order, Salmon, typical Italian sweet breakfast and good coffee. The bed was not that good for my back, but then I am very fussy. "We booked a stay for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenage children in an ‘executive apartment’. The apartment itself was clean and tidy but there was only one mirror in the apartment other than the bathroom which was tricky with 5 of us sharing one apartment. It was not considered to be a ‘room only’ hotel stay by the staff. We were told that it is a separate apartment and therefore we had to pay if we needed additional toilet rolls (1 euro each!).
