"This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."

"Great property and fairly convenient location. About 10-15 minute walk to Sunnegga lift and about 5 minutes to the bus. Ski locker and boot room adjacent to entrance makes gearing up very straightforward. Property manager very professional and responsive. Only downside was a door lock that didn’t work. "I have to say that I expected this place not to be as nice, the pictures didn't look that good but we booked it because we just wanted a place to sleep with a kitchen for a short stay in Zermatt. "I have spent 4 days 3 nights in the apartment with my husband for our honeymoon trip. It was so wonderful that we were upgraded to another floor with spectacular view of Matterhorn (haus nina). The apartment is very comfortable and sweet. Kitchen has all cooking utensils you need and there is a large oven, the pots for cheese fondue, meat fondue and raclette. "Our stay was simply perfect and we would come back anytime ! The condition of the apartment was great, the kitchen had everything one could need, it was clean and quiet! My teenager loved the mezzanine! We walked from and to train station since we only had a carry-on and a backpack, and everyday for our activities and doing groceries. The views were great from the living room or the balcony of the bedroom. I highly recommend it! "

"Super smooth check in process. Loved the views ans silence at Overlook Lodge compared to a regular room at Cervo. Staff was extremely attentive and were accessible at all times. I was jumping out of my bed every morning at sunrise to enjoy the views! At a little extra cost you can also enjoy breakfast and spa at Cervo. Hotel has direct connection to the lifts! I would recommend it to everyone and stay here again!"

"Excellent apartment, right in the centre by the church. Even had a good view of the Matterhorn when the clouds cleared. Being on the third floor the stairs could be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues. Highly recommended. The beds were comfortable and the linen first class. "
