"We had a one night stay on our way back home from completing the NC500. We were made very welcome, including our dog. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and only a few minutes walk from the little town of Fort Augustus. Hotel was lovely, however looking a little tired. This hotel advertises that it has a malt selection of 60 varieties, we found this appeared to be much reduced."

"Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. "
