"Amazing resort in Pilanesberg. Very high standard of service. Food and service first class. Safari vehicles well maintained and comfortable. Even have comfort stop during drives. Our ranger excellent (Jaktah-probably spelt incorrectly sorry) with vast knowledge of wildlife and birdlife. Saw big five. Each drive very different in terms of viewing and terrain. Rooms comfortable and spacious as were communal areas. Nice pool."

We had such a great time - Joseph was a sensational ranger and a character also - managed to find us almost everything obscure we asked about on our last drive. Also Tito / Tato (?) gave a really interesting snake demo - I've seen a few of these before elsewhere but his was really great and he was very patient afterwards with my kids holding the snakes. "The service level was poor, below our expectation. Hotel staff not communicative to the extent of preparing unconfirmed breakfast. We found this a bit strange for a guest lodge."

"I found a place that the air cnditioning was very important. They confirned that there was air conditioning in the room. When we got there he said 'sorry aircon not working but we giving you a fan' A loud noisy fan which did nothing except move hot air from side to side. We did not sleep the entire night. Without aircon the mosquitos had a field day on us. Very disappointed and will not use again. "

"It's a small guest house with 3 rooms with hardly any catering options in the area. It's very close to the gate of Pilanesberg NP. The pool is very small but big enough to cool down on a hot day. In the night there is a bright light outside and with the white and thin curtain it's also bright in the room. The owner Joyce is very friendly. What we didn't like is that the cleaner made order in our private stuff and even put things that were not at the cleaner expected position in our suitcases and...
