It is a walk from the main town centre, and the hill is steep, so need to be mobile, or happy to use taxis. But the walk is worth it as the location is peaceful. "The hotel had a lovely view of the volcano and the mountains, but it was quite a long walk away from high street down a steep hill. It wasn’t a problem to do the walk a couple of times, but definitely not every day. "This hotel is a little gem, steeped in history and very central. The internal lounge area with it's palms and exotic plants is wonderful. I would recommend this hotel so long as you are not looking for luxury. There are lovely views from many rooms and the pool is good. Shame they don't offer tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Fixtures and fittings are sadly just looking a bit tired."

"Not too far from the city and i had a fantastic day at the animal park, definitely a big hit with kids. Only issue was that there was a bus strike at the time, which meant what i wanted to do in terms of excursions was limited. "

Hotel Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden

Fabulous Luxury Hotel

"My husband and I recently stayed at the Botánico Hotel & The Oriental Spa Garden and had the most amazing experience. We stayed for 5 nights and the staff were absolutely amazing the entire time. When we arrived, the front desk staff were very helpful and Antonio (I believe was his name) showed us to our room. Once in the room, he explained several things about the room which was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the space we would call home for the next few days. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and professional our entire stay. We were able to call and easily get an iron, taxi etc. The attention to detail in the room was superb. We especially enjoyed the pillow menu options and turn down service. The breakfast was outstanding and a lovely way to start the day. We utilized the spa area with a couples massage and played tennis. I love fresh flowers and the fresh rose in the bathroom was a wonderful touch. We dined at The Oriental and II Pappagallo which were both delicious. The live music each night was a fun treat for a wind down at the end of the evening. Hotel Botanico is a true Luxury Hotel and I thank the entire staff for making our trip to Tenerife so wonderful."
