"Hostal 977 was charming and delightful. It’s on a medieval street just wide enough for a car, but few go by since the hotel is in the old city. Albert, at the front desk, was warm and welcoming. He couldn’t have been a better host. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Tarragona was our first stop on flying from the U.S., so we were exhausted. "Difficulty finding the entrance to the hotel in a car but once inside we were greeted with a smile and a glass of Cava. The room was very spacious with views of the sea and amphitheatre. Couldn’t have been more comfortable."

"The receptionist was impressively professional and helpful. She spoke Russian to the Russian guest ahead of us, then smoothly switched to English for us, the Spanish for the next. Check in was easy, the room was nice, and our stay was wonderful."
