"Stella and her family have been wonderful hosts. The room is a bit run down and a big gap between the roof and bathroom wall. So we had mosquitos at night. We had lunch and dinner at the resort for the entire time that we stayed in Tanna Island. Stella is a great cook! We had a bad experience with the driver who took us to the volcano from Amutia. I don't know if the driver is the designated driver for Amutia Resort, but he did all the airport pick up and drop off. We were a group of 4 and...

"Don't book! This is a scam. We arrived to the island to learn the owner, Richard, does not even live on Tanna but on Malacula. There was no one there to help us, no one at the hotel, no one around! Expedia still makes you pay for it because once the day of your booking begins and you haven't canceled you're billed. You won't know its a scam until it's too late to get your money back. Beware! "
