"The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing sites to see and places to eat. Since there’s limited driving in the area they try as much as possible to arrange parking and transportation. The room and hotel is very unique with art and architecture. They provided a great bottle of red wine for being a VIP on Expedia. "Siracusa has been the highlight of our 10 days in Sicily so far and Algilà Ortigia was a great place to visit. Staff was friendly and several went out of their way to be helpful. "It was the only place in that area that had a sand beach with a beautiful layout. Even the outdoor bathrooms were so clean and pretty. The breakfast was amazing and the service fantastic. We stayed in one of the apartment style rooms. Would absolutely recommend this place and would go here again!"

"This hotel is somewhat under construction so the living room is not set up well but the staff is excellent, the breakfast options were good (with real cappuchino - not from a machine!) and there is an elevator so we didn't have to lug suitcases up a stairway. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping came in every day. Front desk and breakfast staff were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants, markets and a barbershop!"
