Lovely hotel but away from centre

The hotel itself is nice, staff are friendly, pool area is nice, food Ok ( bit fancy for our tastes in the restaurant) but good quality. But the area is a 20- 30 min walk to the centre or Ortigia where you will find restaurants - most of the area you walk through isn’t particularly attractive. The archaeological park is very near ( walkable) and enjoyable to do. So although I have no faults with the hotel - the location wasn’t the best choice for us

Excellent breakfast and great evening meals too. The receptionists were absolutely super in giving us advice on local transport and visitor attractions. The waiters and waitresses were also very friendly and helpful and very accommodating in explanations and assistance. Highly recommended.

The property is a little out of town but, there are buses you can catch and its only a 20min walk in. The pool was lovely and the bar staff were excellent! Great cocktails! Beds very comfortable.

The rooftop pool, restaurant and bar were welcoming and staff friendly. Great way to spend an afternoon/evening. Easy walk to Ortigia from hotel so it was convenient to leave our car at the hotel and visit Ortigia on foot.

Great location for exploring Syracuse, especially close to the archeological park. Mostly friendly staff and good service in the restaurant for dinner. The room is a decent size, clean and has a powerful shower. The breakfast had a good range of options but the 'hot' food was cold. Would have been good to have some powdered or long-life milk provided in the room for tea, instead of needing to request some from the bar.

Syracusa Hotel Review

The hotel is nice but is on the norther outskirts of the town in a mainly residential area. I was looking forward to using the gym and sauna but the gym was poorly stocked and the sauna could only be used as part of a spa package minimum of €40 per time so that was a let down and not in the description. Breakfast was very good with a range of choices and the 6th floor pool was nice to have for a late afternoon chill out after touring in the day.
