Really friendly staff and nice bar. Parts of the room were dated in regard to walls and ceiling. Room was noisy as we could clearly hear people talking, dog whining and scratching and doors opening and closing. The shower was good. Breakfast had plenty of options but unfortunately what was under the heat lamps was luke warm. Freshly made poached eggs on request were overdone. Great pancake making machine and coffee. Overall ok as only stayed 1 night.

Staff waited late (midnight) for us to check in, leaving front door open, which was much appreciated. Check in was quick and convenient. Some noisy people in the hallway, not the hotels fault but the door wasn't particularly sound proof. Nice sized room, area doesn't have much around it but it's convenient for the train station or getting to town/harbour. 20 minutes from hotel door to the airport via a train.

If you want a good nights sleep I would not recommend the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything so it is not soundproof at all. But if you have a conference there maybe try the ibis across the road but for dining the food was lovely, breakfast as well and the staff very helpful and lovely.

Friendly staff. Very clean. Enjoyed a swim but pool is small so don’t be disappointed if you are a pro swimmer fine for me dawdling up and down with it to myself. Lovely sauna. Breakfast is a bit expensive so didn’t bother with that. Bed was comfy and warm.
