"This an elegant hotel at the edge of JMU campus. It is not far from dining and shopping. I stayed during Christmas so it was quiet (other than barking dogs next door). My room was the King suite so it had the essentials for cooking and food storage. There was a dining table and a couch in the room. One night I had a cheeseburger and fries from the hotel restaurant and it was delicious put pricey ($21). I didnā€™t have any issues during this stay and I would stay here again. Next time I will use...

"The front desk manager, Melissa, was extremely helpful when there was an issue with the thermostat in our room. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, due to an impending snow storm, we had to cut our stay short. Melissa worked with the gentleman from Expedia to complete my travel insurance claim. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future."

"Everything was good overall. The front receptionist did not greet us, she looked like she hate her job. The room was clean except thereā€™s red spot on one of the bed sheets. They did changed it next day after I told the front desk. The hotel is pet friendly, we could hear noises occasionally from our room at night. The room is super dry during the winter I recommend bring a humidifier. We bought one after we couldnā€™t sleep on the first night. "

"We went for a quick getaway, and are already planning a longer trip back with our kids. The staff were so helpful (we forgot all our toiletries) and the setting was gorgeous. Itā€™s a lodge in a national park, not a luxury retreat in Aspen, so accommodations fit the setting, but all in all we were really happy. The only ding is that the mattress wasnā€™t *great* but we were fine. "
