The hotel is a nice oasis of calm in the heart of Siem Reap. Calm & tidy, the room was decent & pool area never too busy. The staff are what set this place apart - every single person from breakfast to spa greets you with a smile, it’s not forced, it’s genuine. A special mention to Anna, Naza & Hana at the front desk. No task too big or small. Please remember where you are, in a fundamentally poorer country, they are providing an excellent experience in terms of service & amenities.

The hotel is beautiful, with excellent service and amazing accommodations. While it's a bit outside the main area, specifically Pub Street, it's only a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride (Grab) away. Additionally, there's a good cafe, an ATM, and laundry services located less than a block from the hotel.

Frequent traveler to Siem Reap. Normally stay golden temple or Sofitel. This property is for a relaxing holiday. Rooms are clean and service is fantastic. Gym and pool are clean. Booked room with small dip pool and no complaints. I used the hotel airport shuttle service and highly recommend that, the vehicle was immaculate. Only two issues are the WiFi and breakfast. WiFi didn’t work unless I went to lobby, and the breakfast at the restaurant needs some work. Limited options compared to other hotels in the area.

Really good moments, spa is really good, pity we only tryed it at the end, breakfast is correct, team is really friendly, nice two swimming pool, really peaceful atmosphere. Had a truly lovely and luxurious stay at the Sarai. Definitely recommend this for your stay in Siem Reap! We had a pool view room which had a lovely day bed bay window you could relax in, or soak up some sun by the stunning pool. As someone who doesn't like cold pools, I was very pleasantly surprised the pool was a very comfortable temperature to cool off in after sun bathing. The staff were all very nice, helpful and genuinely friendly. It was very easy (and cheap) to catch a Tuk Tuk anywhere, so always felt like just a step away from everything whilst having a lovely retreat at the Sarai.

Watch out for bait and switch rooms. I booked and pre paid their best room, upon check-in was told that room was not available by a nervous looking receptionist but that I was getting a better UPGRADED room. That was most definitely not the case as we entered the room that was HALF the size of the room I had paid for and the pool was green!. Told them this was not acceptable and after some 20 minutes of back and forth of me having to prove that the room they gave me was far less cost than what I had paid for they finally gave me at least a comparable room in size which still had a green water pool by the way. Which begs the question why not that room in the first place. I believe this is a scam they are running. I really tried to like it afterwards despite this major issue but they kept letting me down, from the soggiest waffles, tiny portions, extra charges if you want a fresh pulled coffee at breakfast, dismal menu. I decided I would absolutely not be spending another dime in this hotel. After coming from another hotel (Borei) that was half the price and way wayyyy better service and in every facility aspect. This is most definitely not a 5 star hotel and I am not surprised it's a ghost town and will most likely be out of business soon.

Old school charm, interesting architecture and design. Even the floor tiles capture your eye. Staff couldn't be nicer, as with all Cambodians we've ever known. Pool is nice. Looks like it could be used in a Bogart Bacall film noir. Price is spot on value. Really enjoyed it. Would love to go back someday.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, the pool was lovely and the environment relaxed and peaceful. We really felt lucky to be staying there.
