"Very quiet location as close to Miho no Matsubara as you can get in a place to stay. Owner of the place, Mrs. Endo, was extremely pleasant and motherly. Accommodations were excellent with Japanese meals for

. Need to take a taxi to get to any other touristy spots and to Shizuoka Shinkansen station (about 40 mins). The beach and the pine tree forest are right there. Very quiet and relaxing. I would stay there again in the future. "

"While the hotel is a little old and the wallpaper is ripped in areas, the staff are very friendly and kind and the

was very delicous. The onsen bath was cold on two nights and when we shared this with staff, they reset things quickly, allowing us to return in an hour to piping hot spring baths. The hotel doesn't have all the bells and whistles newer hotels have but the nice staff at reception and at the restaurant make up for it! "

"Nice hotel in a fairly quiet area. The staff were helpful and I was provided

as part of my stay, which was nice. Room was a good size, with a very comfortable bed. There isn't much in the area in terms of tourism but I used the couple of days here to reset from having had a hectic week or so prior. There's a nice beach in Miho to walk along, which is about 50 minutes on the bus. "

"We were welcomed by a team of friendly and helpful staff. The Japanese style breakfast was too overwhelming to digest but great experience. A big thank you to the staff who assisted us on checkout day. She was alert and fast to show us the tip of Mt Fuji when it miraculously appeared before we left as we couldn’t catch the view during the 2 days stay due to rain and cloudy condition."
